My Professional Ethics

The Framework of My Practice

I practise massage with the aim of promoting well-being.

I am neither a doctor, nor a physiotherapist, nor a psychologist, and I do not perform any act falling within the scope of these professions.

Should a situation require medical attention or therapeutic follow-up, I will refer you to an appropriate healthcare professional.

General Principles

My practice is open to all, without distinction of age, sex, appearance, or origin, and is grounded in mutual respect and professional neutrality.

Appointment Policy

Fees are fixed and non-negotiable. Any attempt at negotiation will immediately end the contact. The cancellation of a very first appointment, for any reason whatsoever, will put an end to any future collaboration.

Mutual Commitments

The following rules apply to all appointments.
They are binding both for the practitioner and for the person receiving the session.

Courtesy and Respect

Each session takes place in a context of respect, propriety, and restraint.
Any inappropriate behaviour will result in the immediate termination of the session.

Punctuality and Reliability

Punctuality is essential.

As the premises do not have a waiting area, arriving early is not possible.

Any cancellation must be made at least 48 hours before the appointment. After this deadline, the session is due. I reserve the right to refuse any further bookings in the event of repeated or late cancellations.

Hygiene

Proper personal hygiene is required. A shower is available if needed.
All equipment and linen are changed or disinfected between each session.

Consent and Boundaries

Nudity is never imposed.

Any discomfort, particular sensitivity, or area to be avoided must be indicated beforehand.

No sexual proposition or ambiguity is tolerated.

Any attempt in this regard will lead to the immediate termination of the session.

Guidelines of our meeting

What We Mutually Commit To

Establishing common rules is of paramount importance to avoid misunderstandings and disappointments.

In our society, where we are often driven to react rather than encouraged to reflect, the loss of common ground allows doubts to flourish, leading to confusion, agitation and dissatisfaction.

Therefore, I believe essential to clarify the following points. These will seem obvious to most of you.

These rules bind me just as much as you commit to respecting them when you make an appointment.

• • •

Demonstrate Courtesy and Decency.

The quality of social interactions is merely the result of the energy we invest in them. Showing politeness and kindness always transforms how we perceive others, who will respond far more favourably than if approached with harshness and aggression.

• • •

Be Punctual and Reliable.

I am not the only one to have noticed a regrettable shift in behaviour when it comes to appointments, which is why I have resolved to be particularly thorough on this point!

Organise yourself on the day of the appointment so as not to disrupt the other person. This implies arriving at the time we agreed upon when making the appointment. On my side, I adhere to a strict schedule, as generating and maintaining a state of calm and clarity requires attention and foresight. I cannot transmit this peaceful energy during the massage without the stability of an established framework.

Being reliable means being able to ensure your presence on the day of the appointment, which implies organising yourself accordingly. Provide sufficient notice in case of cancellation: I earn my living from the time I devote to my clients, and any hour cancelled at the last minute is lost forever, along with my means of subsistence.

Therefore, cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the appointment, allowing me enough time to offer the newly available slot to someone else. The session is due for cancellations made outside of this timeframe. Furthermore, I reserve the right to refuse future appointments with anyone who has cancelled a booking in an untimely manner.

In conclusion, if you have no control over your time, please refrain from making an appointment with me! After all, there are massage parlours where services are available at the last minute.

Maintain Personal Hygiene.

Excellent personal hygiene is essential in the context of a massage, both for the masseur and the client. I have a shower available; please feel free to use it if you feel the need to freshen up.

On my part, I use disposable examination sheets and disinfect the equipment I use between each session. Each towel used during a session is machine-washed after use.

• • •
